At quite a young age, she discovered her love for medicine and in particular for dentistry when helping in her father's dental surgery.

From 2006 to 2013 Dr. Vera Huemer-Marquart studied at the Dental School of the University of Vienna and completed her studies with a diploma thesis entitled Three-dimensional analysis of bone quality in human infrabony defects around teeth using micro-computed tomography. In May 2013 she presented a poster of her study at the International Osteology Symposium held in Monaco. Her diploma thesis was awarded second place in the annual master thesis competition of the Vienna University Clinic of Dentistry.

Since 2013 Dr. Vera Huemer-Marquart  has been a member of the team of dental surgeons at her father's dental centre. In 2014 she completed a Specialised Training Programme in Endodontics and is currently undergoing specialised training in oral surgery. From 2014 to 2015 she completed a curriculum in the field of implant surgery and implant prosthetics under the supervision of Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya (Spain) and Prof. Lyndon Cooper (USA).

Since then she has completed numerous advanced training courses in the field of implant surgery and periodontal surgery in the USA, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, South Africa, and many more.

In addition to her work Dr. Vera Huemer-Marquart teaches in the Dental Association of Vorarlberg School for Assistants.

Dr. Vera Huemer-Marquart is currently taking part in a Specialization Programme in the areas of: microsurgical periodontal surgery, immediate implant placement in the aesthetic area and complex implantology.
